The increasing prevalence of social crises including pandemics, economic instability, armed conflicts, migration, and cultural transformations has highlighted the importance of resilience as a fundamental human capacity. Although contemporary psychology has developed several theoretical models explaining resilience, the Holy Quran offers a comprehensive spiritual framework that has not yet been systematically analyzed through interpretive data mining. The present study aimed to identify the Quranic model of spiritual resilience through thematic analysis of verses concerning divine trials and to compare its conceptual components with established psychological resilience indicators. This applied qualitative study employed thematic analysis and interpretive data mining. The research corpus consisted of Quranic verses related to trial, patience, trust in God, gratitude, hope, perseverance, and divine support together with authoritative Islamic commentaries. Following open, axial, and selective coding, the extracted concepts were organized into an integrated conceptual framework and comparatively analyzed against contemporary psychological resilience models. The findings indicate that the Quranic model of spiritual resilience comprises four interconnected dimensions including cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and teleological domains. Central components include belief in divine wisdom, meaning-making of suffering, trust in divine promises, self-regulation, active hope, social responsibility, and ethical perseverance. Comparative analysis revealed substantial overlap with modern psychological resilience constructs while demonstrating that the Quran uniquely emphasizes transcendental purpose, revelation-based cognitive reconstruction, and faith-centered social responsibility. The proposed model provides a comprehensive indigenous framework applicable to psychological interventions, religious education, cultural policymaking, and the development of spiritually integrated mental health programs. Furthermore, it contributes to interdisciplinary dialogue between Quranic studies, theology, and contemporary psychology.
