    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2023)

This issue presents scholarly contributions focusing on climatic design strategies, indigenous architectural technologies, energy optimization, architectural semiotics, and heritage analysis within Iranian contexts. The published studies examine airport design principles in hot and humid climates with emphasis on lightweight structural systems as key architectural elements, and analyze the role of semiotics in shaping the identity of landmark cultural buildings in contemporary Iranian architecture.

The issue further explores elderly care facility design grounded in green living principles to enhance environmental quality, and proposes an energy-efficient roadside accommodation design along the Yazd–Na'in route utilizing traditional architectural strategies. The performance of dynamic smart façade systems in optimizing building energy consumption is also assessed from a technical and functional perspective.

Additional contributions evaluate windcatchers (badgirs) as indigenous climatic technologies and their impact on thermal and environmental comfort in historical buildings of Yazd, and provide an analytical study of the architectural ornamentation and visual characteristics of the Shah Mosque (Masjid-e Jame Abbasi) in Isfahan.

All contributions have undergone a rigorous peer-review process and aim to strengthen the integration of climatic knowledge, sustainable technologies, and architectural heritage within contemporary design discourse.

    Vol. 2 No. 1 (2024)

This issue presents interdisciplinary research at the intersection of architecture, place branding, cultural heritage, creative economy, and design innovation. The published studies explore the concept of “Geography as Brand,” examining the nature and strategic importance of geographical branding through the case of Switzerland’s national brand, and propose a strategic framework for the role of symbols in brand identity systems.

The issue further includes an analysis of the restoration and revitalization plan of the Haj Ebrahim Sarmadian historical bathhouse in Zanjan, and investigates architecture as a therapeutic tool in designing residential rehabilitation camps based on environmental psychology principles. Sustainable architectural solutions for homelessness are also examined, focusing on structural characteristics and psychological impacts of prefabricated housing.

Additional contributions address the historical evolution of luxury fashion and its macroeconomic implications, character design in animation grounded in Young’s early maladaptive schema theory, and the role of interior architecture in enhancing the functional quality of educational environments.

All contributions have undergone a rigorous peer-review process and aim to integrate creative design, cultural identity, and sustainable development through both theoretical and applied perspectives.

    Vol. 3 No. 1 (2025)

This issue presents interdisciplinary contributions in architecture, sustainable design, environmental psychology, contemporary art, and digital cultural management. The published studies examine inclusive interior design strategies for the Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili shrine to enhance accessibility for elderly and physically disabled individuals, and explore bio-inspired architectural paradigms in the design of sustainable commercial–cultural complexes through case-based analysis.

The issue further investigates the impact of façade color and material texture on surface and ambient temperature in newly developed urban districts, and analyzes the influence of deconstructivist and biophilic design approaches on spatial risk perception, place attachment, and investment behavior in urban cultural spaces, grounded in environmental psychology and behavioral economics.

Additional contributions address the conceptual foundations of new media in contemporary art with emphasis on video art, the role of digital art management as a tool for cultural exchange between Iran and France, and the strategic branding of Iranian ethnic music as a scalable global cultural asset.

All contributions have undergone a rigorous peer-review process and aim to bridge creative design, emerging technologies, and sustainable cultural development through both theoretical and applied perspectives.
