Abstract

Solar energy production is a key component of a country’s economic development, substantially contributing to national progress by meeting residents’ energy needs. This study investigates the role of solar energy production in the country’s economic development. The study population comprised all residents of Qush tepa District. Using the infinite-population sample-size formula, a sample of 300 respondents was determined and selected via convenience random sampling. A researcher-designed questionnaire was administered and, after collection, analyzed with SPSS 26 using correlation analysis. Results indicated that solar energy production influenced the country’s economic development at the 99% confidence level, accounting for a 60% effect (p < 0.01).
