A positive and significant relationship was obtained between extroversion, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness with emotional intelligence. The results of the regression analysis using the entry method showed that the personality traits of agreeableness, openness and conscientiousness can predict 38% of the variable of emotional intelligence.
