After the end of the imposed war, the reconstruction of damaged areas and the development of deprived regions became one of the country’s major necessities, and the Construction Jihad (Jihad‑e Sazandegi) played a fundamental role in this process. In this context, women, alongside men, participated in developmental, educational, cultural, and social activities and made a significant contribution to the country’s reconstruction. In the thought of the martyred leader Khamenei, Muslim women have an active and responsible role in society and can participate in social and nation‑building arenas within the framework of Islamic values. The findings of this study show that through activities in educational, health, cultural, and productive sectors, women were able to play an effective role in strengthening public participation, transmitting cultural values, and improving the livelihoods of rural and deprived areas.
